Work in Progress for a Destroyer design, UEAS Nimbus Class.

Class and type: Nimbus class destroyer.

Type: Advanced Global Strike Destroyer (Built during the NGCS Program.)
Length: 800 ft.
Beam: 95 ft (Main hull).
Draft: 30 ft.
Propulsion: 2x Stone Dynamics ATOLL water jet propulsion system.
Speed: In excess of 40 kn.

Sensors and
processing systems:
• AN/SPY-5 MFR

• Sixth Sense Control Interface (Cameras and sensors collect data feeding it to a large screen in the bridge in place of windows, allowing for wider views of combat space.)

Armament:
• 2x Black Lightning RGS-1 Rail guns.
• 3x ASBL Advanced Shipboard Lasers.
• Boeing CM-V Thor Cruise Missiles.
• Stone Dynamics FDM-22 Reaper Surface to Air Missiles.

Aircraft carried: • One XCV-22D or XAV- 22D Super Osprey.
• One MQ-8 Fire Scout VT-UAV.
• Two VFQ-2 Seaknight UCAVs.

Yes, well except for the Firescout drone and the V-22 which I edited, those came from the shipbucket part sheet.

But this design is stupid, that's why the new Nimbus looks nothing like it.

Very nice drawing, although I'm not entriely sure it is OK to call ship as large as medium carrier a "destroyer"

(Only kidding, really, it's your world

). Love this. I was thinking about deploying some of mine near future or alternate time-line warships here on DevArt, your gallery was final argument to do it.
