Kirihara Heavy Industries K-19 Faraday

Electrolaser

In use with the armies that compose the Sednan Oceanic Union Self Defense Forces and later by the Patriot States of Atliania in the Atlianian Civil War, the K-19 is a scaled up and more powerful version of the K-18 Verne, a less-lethal weapon used primarily by law enforcement and security, the K-19 is a full military electrolaser, able to produce a powerful enough shock to kill the intended target and severely damage electronics. Complete with two Picatinny rails, iron sights, and textured grips, and a charging cable, the K-19 is Kirihara's most technologically advanced piece of "light" arms.

An electrolaser uses a laser to ionize the air, creating a LIPC, laser induced plasma channel, which acts as a conduit for electricity, which strikes the target, either knocking them down or killing them depending on the weapon setting.
